Roy CharlesHATCHPassed away peacefully following a short illness in Bath, on 28th September 2025, aged 88 years.

Beloved Husband to his late wife Maureen, Brother of Fay & Uncle to Michael. Will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him. Always in our hearts.

Funeral service to take place at Bathwick St Marys Church, Darlington Road, Bath BA2 6NN on Tuesday 28th October 2025 at 2.30pm.

Family flowers only but donations if desired may be given on the day towards Dorothy House Hospice Care.

Wells Cathedral School owes much to Roy, and I personally owe him much because of his kindness and encouragement.

When we were fundraising to build Cedars Hall he kept my feet on the ground and ensured that we were persistent and held the vision!
